Irving Torres Legislative Aide from Office of Warren Slocum:
Handles constituent issues, staffs the North Fair Oaks Community Council, and is a liaison to the nonprofit community.
Irving, who is bilingual (Spanish), worked as the San Mateo Hispanic Chamber Coordinator where he planned events and projects to foster civic engagement among youth and small business. He served as an intern for Supervisor Rose Jacobs Gibson and helped organize the County’s first Foreclosure Resource Fair and Youth Gun Violence forum. Irving grew up in San Mateo County; he earned his B.A. from the University of Utah.
